Nanchang Changbei Airport, China, a large, rank 4E airport, dealing with large quantities of passangers on a daily basis. Like many large building complexes, the airport has a vast security system designed especially for the airport premises.
The security system consists predominantly of 340 IP surveillance cameras. Positioned in vantage points around the area, the cameras maintain 24/7 visual recordings of the entire complex.
Specific cameras are used for certain areas. For example, SNC-RZ50P and SNC-CS20 network cameras are used in areas with a high footfall of passengers. These cameras have wide angle imaging as well as high depth of field characteristics, perfect for capturing high detail on small, moving objects.
SNC-DS10 and SNC-DS60 cameras, are used forcheck in areas. The progressive scan CCDs and complementary color filters of the cameras are well suited for recording interactions between staff and passengers.
The security system functions effectively, providing users with effective operability and compatibility with existing systems.
